IPAF Mobile Elevated Working Platform (MEWP) Static Boom | 1B

The IPAF 1B is for anyone that is expected to use an Mobile Elevated Working Platform (MEWP), specifically a Static Boom. This course is beneficial for all those in an organization who use, supervise, or manage the use of 1b Static Booms. The aim of the programme is to equip users with the essential knowledge & skills to safely operate these platforms.

The course content covers the following:

• Understanding MEWP categories
• Understanding Structure & Part Set Up
• All Relevant Regulations
• Hazards & Risk Assessments
• Safety & Proper Operating Methods
• Information covering Log Book & Renewal of Licences
• Inspection & Handover

Participants must be 18 years of age & are require to bring the following PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) :

• Helmet
• Safety Boots
• Hi Vis Vest
• Facemask
• Harness

The course is delivered in classroom & participants are require to sit a practical & written exam upon completion of the course.

The course duration is 1 DAY.

Upon completion, Participants will receive a 1b IPAF PAL Card, which is valid for 5 years, and an IPAF Certificate for the Static Boom category.
