The Construction Plant Competence Scheme (CPCS) Card scheme is one of the mostly highly recognised cards in the UK. It is the only card to be recognised on all UK Construction sites. It shows that the people have the skills and knowledge to operate to do their job competently onsite.
The CPCS Trained Operator Card is issued on successful completion of the CPCS Theory and Practical Technical Assessment which takes place in our CPCS accredited centre.
This card is valid for 2 years and is non-renewable. To progress, you are required to prove your competency in the category by undertaking the relevant NVQ within the 2 years in order to advance to the CPCS Blue Card
CPCS Red Card
The CPCS Competent Operator Card is issued on successful completion of the CPCS Theory and Practical Technical Assessment which takes place in our CPCS accredited centre along with the completion of the relevant NVQ for the plant category.
This card confirms that you have demonstrated an underpinning knowledge for the category achieved.
This card is valid for 5 years and is renewable.
The CPCS Competent Operator Card is valid for 5 years and can be renewed by completing the relevant CPCS Renewal CPD Modle. . This card can be renewed by completing the relevant CPCS Renewal CPD Module.
This online course ensures that your knowledge and skills for each plant category on your card remain up-to-date. The course includes short question-and-answer sections to check your understanding, but there are no tests with minimum pass marks.
The Renewal CPD Modules now replaces the previous CPCS Renewal Tests.
